 CQ CHAMPIONSHIPS - MARCH 2009
Congratulations
to all of the Rocky City Swimmers on a gutsy effort at the CQ
Championships. The swimmers were a credit to the club and were
rewarded with some great times for all of their hard work throughout
the season. Rocky City claimed 2nd place with 40 swimmers
competing. We were very proud of the strength of our
swimmers. We gave a good fight to retain the CQ Champion title,
however it is a hard to beat a team that has a lot higher competitor
numbers. Thank you to the many supporters for their help on the day
with tents and timekeeping.
Thanks to the many businesses that supported our club with sponsorship of the club shirts:
- CQ PODIATRY - SPLASH-A-BOUT - WENDY'S CITY CENTRE PLAZA - KAWANA KITCHENS - BENCRAFT - TREND INTERIORS - FITZROY ELECTRICAL - BERSERKER TAVERN - BELL THOMASSON - TOMKINS PROPERTY AGENTS - CITY HEART MEDICAL
